Henry entered the commercial real estate field directly out of Boston University (BS/BA Finance 1983). Mr. Forster has worked his entire career in the commercial real estate industry and his experience is comprehensive. After starting out with a real estate syndication firm performing acquisition, leasing and disposition-related services, Mr. Forster completed graduate studies at American University (M.B.A. Finance/Real Estate 1986). His tenure at Core Development Group, Inc. began in 1987 and has included brokering, developing, financing and/or asset management of retail, office, warehouse and industrial buildings and land. Mr. Forster maintains an active role in the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Jerry has a BA in Economics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and an MBA from Mount St. Mary’s University and has over 15 years of construction management experience. Jerry began his career in residential home construction where he was a Project Manager and Purchasing Manager. In these roles he was responsible for contractor and customer relations, contracts, pricing and quality control. As the Construction Manager, Jerry is responsible for the management of tenant improvements, capital improvements, site work, and property management projects throughout our portfolio. His knowledge and expertise, as well as his work ethic and management skills are instrumental in effectively meeting company goals.
Sharon has more than 20 years of leasing and negotiating experience including retail, office and warehouse transactions. Sharon is experienced in market research, site selection, lease negotiation and asset management. Prior to working in real estate, Sharon was a Vice President of commercial and mortgage lending at a regional bank.
Liz Collins is the Property and Marketing Manager for Core Development Group. She fulfills a wide range of duties that include managing commercial real estate properties, marketing, website design/management, leasing support and administrative support.
In her past endeavors she worked for 27 years at a nonprofit software developer in Maryland helping to develop a loan servicing system for nonprofit agencies who provided loans such as EDA, SBA and economic development as well as marketing, sales and training for this piece of software. She did a short stint of sales and training of this same type of software for a large Development Corporation out of Philadelphia, PA. She was also the sole meeting planner for meetings for up to 400 attendees.
Since 1996 Steve has leased retail, flex, office and industrial properties for tenants and landlords throughout the Washington, D.C. region. Steve has also assisted his clients with numerous sales and/or purchases of buildings and land. Previously, Steve held executive sales positions with a national retail company and a national finance firm. His hobbies include hiking the Appalachian Trail and kayaking. Steve earned an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and B.S.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
Howie Kalamets is the Assistant Project Engineer for Core Development Group. Howie is responsible for the creation, coordination and distribution of all documentation and information for all Core Development Group’s construction projects. Prior to joining our team, Howie worked in government contracting for a Frederick area based firm. Howie has a BS in Business Administration with a minor in Criminology from Immaculata University (PA).
